Surface Details Surface Kalahari Finish polished Overview Kalahari is quarried in a bedrock quarry in India. This granite will have a wide range of colors ranging from light green, varying shades of grey and blue, and white or cream mixed in. It is also possible to have chunks of Tourmaline and Quartz within the stone. The veining and movement will vary from lot to lot therefore; it is important and recommended that customers view the product in person before finalizing a purchase. Due to the qualities of the stone, the slabs are book-matched; meaning slab one and slab two will be cut and polished to create a mirror image of each other. These are then kept in sequence, which allows for a consistent flow in pattern. During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to the surface of the stone to fill in any natural pits, cracks or fissures that may exist. It is possible for some of the more minute pits that are too small to effectively hold the resin, to reopen during other finishing stages. However, this will not detract from the overall quality or appearance of the stone. Material granite Available thicknesses 2cm, 3cm Bookmatched option Yes Brand Arizona Tile Collection granite
